Our visual experience is so complex, but we often take it for granted and miss the many small moments of beauty in everyday life. It wasn't until I started painting from life that I began to see the beautiful nuances in color and light in everyday scenes. In "Simply Loving What Is Here," I capture these precious moments in a series of 51 daily paintings.
