Starting a Sketchbook Practice: 4-Week Online Workshop
This 4-week workshop is designed for traditional painters looking to use sketchbooks to enhance their painting skills. Tailored to artists with some experience in drawing, painting, and color mixing, the course covers essential sketchbook exercises that help refine painting design and composition, simplify complex scenes, improve value understanding, and explore color relationships.

Each session includes a lecture, live demo, and Q&A, with sessions 2-4 featuring reviews of student exercises. Throughout the course, students will have access to a shared platform for posting work, receiving personalized feedback, and connecting with other participants.

Classes will be conducted over Zoom, and all sessions will be recorded. Students will have access to the recordings within 24 hours of each class and do not need to attend live.

Materials required include a sketchbook, pencil, and fast-drying paint. A full materials list will be sent upon registration.

Time: 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM PST (California, USA)
Time Commitment: 1.5-hour class each week, plus 15-30 minutes each weekday for sketchbook exercises.
Price: $250
Refund Policy: Class registration is non-refundable. If you cannot attend a session live, you'll still receive access to the recordings. In the unlikely event a class is canceled, students will receive a full refund.
